Lindsey Wilson is a multidisciplinary artist, living and working on the the unceeded and unsurendered territory of the Algonquin Anishnabe people. Working primarily with textile and plant-based materials, her practice engages themes of identity, affect, and embodiment and reflects an attempt to queer the boundaries between craft, art and science. Lindsey received a BFA with a minor in Gender Studies from Queen's University (Kingston, On) in 2015 and she recieved an MFA from the University of Ottawa in 2017 following the presentation of her thesis exhibition, Intimate Entanglements, at Gallery 101. Her work has been exhibited at artist-run centres and university galleries in Kingston, Toronto, and Ottawa.
