intimate entanglements

A fragile warp of cotton threads, suspended across the room, supports a mass of carded wool as it gradually soaks up homemade dye from vats and bowls on the floor.
The wool grows heavier as it is slowly saturated with dye.  Each day I tend to the wool, ensuring it is wet enough to soak up dye, and replacing the dye baths when they are exhausted.
